White Mountains, New Hampshire

Same tree different angle.

 Mt Washington Auto Road
A Scenic Drive to the top

Notice the chains that anchor the building down.

The Tip-Top House is a historic former hotel in Mount Washington State Park.  Erected  in 1853 it is the oldest surviving building on the summit of Mount Washington, and believed to be the oldest extant mountain-top hostelry in the world. It currently features exhibits concerning the mountain's history.

Mt. Washington
Summit 6,288 feet

Fortunately it was a beautiful day when we were there.

Anyone who drives their own car on the narrow, steep road to the top is rewarded with a bumper sticker.  We came down in 4 wheel drive low range.
