-1st night in our new motor home -
On our way to Las Vegas we spent our 1st night in Barry's driveway. A high school buddy of Dave's. Apple Valley California

We spent 3 nights in Las Vegas. Attended a 2 day Freightliner school during the day. We learned a lot about the chassis our motor home is built on and meet a lot of nice people. In the evenings we had dinner and visited with friends living in Henderson and Vegas. It was good to see them.
After leaving Vegas we spent 1 night in Tehachapi, California. We spent 5 nights in Santa Maria. While there we visited our favorite restaurant "Shaw's Steak House" several times. Best Tri Tip ever! We hiked Pointe Sal and went to sprint car races.

Hiked all the way to the beach
After Santa Maria we went to Avila Beach. Wow what a beautiful place! Can't wait to go back and spend more time there.
We continued on to Cayucos, California for a Square Dance weekend. Lots of great friends and dancing.
Took a little drive in the Jeep to San Simeon the see the Elephant Seals sunning themselves before they head North to Alaska for the winter.
On our way home we spent another night in Santa Maria so that we could go back to Shaw's one last time before going home.
