Girls Spring Break, Oregon

Decided it was a good time to visit Oregon again while the air fairs were low.

Upon landing we picked up Shonna and headed for Sutherlin for a visit with Aunt Paula and family.

When they heard Mom was coming they got out their sewing machine and mending.

 The dog was just a puppy last year when we visited.

 Church on Palm Sunday

 After church we say goodbye to Shonna and head for Scio.  Where we visit with my Grandma's oldest sister and her daughters.

In the afternoon the chickens come pecking on the door when they are ready for a snack.

Our final night we spend with Iris in Tigard.  She used to live across the street from us when I was growing up.

California Desert

As we headed west from Apache Junction, Arizona we stop we stopped off at Truckhaven near Salton City, California for the Tierra del sol jeep weekend.

Next we moved over to Sunbeam Lake in El Centro, California. 
This is a great spot for watching the Blue Angels practice daily. 

We enjoyed exploring more of our local desert.
