Hurricane, Utah

Hurricane, which is pronounced "Her-ah-kun" by the locals.

Willow Wind RV Park came highly recommended by several friends.  Now we can see why.

Hanging out with fellow Jeepers

This trail had 28 La Verkin Creek crossings.

Toquerville Falls is located near Hurricane in Toquerville, UT. The falls flow from La Verkin Creek.

Sand Mountain is an open riding area for ATV, UTV, Jeeps, and Dirt Bikes. The terrain is soft, sandy, and loaded with red dirt trails, sand whoops, washes, and several sand dunes up against the red cliffs. The Sand Mountain area is a large open riding area on top of the plateau. Sand Mountain provides 15,000 acres of perfectly sculpted dunes.

FMCA 4-Wheelers Rally is next week in Saint George. If you sign up to lead a trail during the Rally the club asked that you pre-run the trail.  Any of us in the area early are welcome to tag along on the pre-runs.

Razzle Dazzle
This fun trail is a razzle of moderately challenging obstacles, followed by fabulous scenic dazzle!

The run also includes a segment of Fathers Dominguez and Escalante historic trail.

Wayne's World

Over looking Sand Hollow Reservoir
With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, one of Utah’s newer state parks is also one of its most popular. You can enjoy boating, fishing, and diving at Sand Hollow Reservoir.

Bzzackward Trail
Bzzackwards follows the West Rim Trail in reverse and this is how it earned its name.  We are signed up to lead this trail during the Rally.

  1. Willow Wind RV Park 80 South 1150 West Street 435-635-4154 Lots of Mulberry trees. Not a good place for Dave to be in the Spring. Only 12 pull throughs. Only a few sites that your dish will work. We had a deluxe site $65.56 a night with Good Sam and taxes. Willow Wind is closer to the trails than Temple View.

    Trails we did from here:
    Toquerville Falls via Rattlesnake
    Pre-run Razzle Dazzle
    Pre-run Wayne's World
    Pre-run Bzzackward
