Upper and Lower Compressor Trails.

Compressor Creek runs up Grouse Gulch to Star Mine.

We turned around here.  Didn't look like the trail continued up the waterfall.

As we hit the asphalt we heard a noise.  Our U-joint was broke and the outer axle shaft yoke hole was elongated.  We were able to remove the axle shaft and drive it back to camp.

It wasn't easy but we finally located the parts.  Now to put it back together.

Get out the tools and they will come.

The last afternoon a few of us decided to go back and try the waterfall at the end of Upper Compressor Trail.  As we were approaching the top there was a group of 18 jeeps headed down.  Uphill usually has the right away but since it is a dead end at the top we all pulled over as best we could and let them come down.  It was a tight squeeze in spots.

Now it's our turn.  There goes Laramie.

We all made it.  This will now be added to our route for future FMCA 4-Wheeler events.
