We had to hike around this collapsed tunnel




The trestle over Goat Canyon, 600 feet long, stretches 200 feet above the canyon floor.  It was one of the largest curved, wood trestle bridges in the world.
To get here we hiked 4 miles, went through 3 tunnels and crossed 8 trestles

The rock feature you see, long described as "the anticline" resulting from slow geologic process. It was created in just seconds when a fast moving landslide crashed into the soft sea bottom of the early Gulf of California.
