Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Campus Park and Ride is an 11 acre urban parking facility with an area for Rv's.  They offer 24 hour transportation into the city of Philadelphia.  From there we were able to jump on the bus.  It worked out great.

City Tavern
Called the "most genteel tavern in America" by John Adams, the original tavern was the favorite meeting place of many of the Founding Fathers and of many members of the First Continental Congress

In Philly, cheesesteaks are a civic icon, a tourist draw and a cultural obsession. Often imitated around the world.

The lady with the box of candy on her head was really working this corner.  She absolutely wouldn't let go until she got some money out of her victims.

Reading Terminal Market
One of America's largest and oldest public markets, housed since 1893 in a National Historic Landmark building.  The Market offers an incredible selection of farm fresh produce, meats, and poultry, plus the finest seafood, cheeses, baked goods, housewares, jewelry and crafts.

The 72 stone steps before the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, have become known as the "Rocky Steps" as a result of their appearance in the triple-Oscar-winning film Rocky and all of the series' sequels except for Rocky IV. Tourists often mimic Rocky's famous climb.

The Rocky statue located at the bottom right of the steps, is a popular photo opportunity for visitors.

Pat’s grills are sizzling 24 hours a day, as are Geno’s, the rival shop across the street. For 40 years, the two shops have waged a friendly competition to win the title of best cheesesteak in town.
