Blackwater Falls, West Virginia

Located in the Allegheny Mountains, Blackwater Falls State Park is named for the amber waters of Blackwater Falls, a 62-foot cascade tinted by the tannic acid of fallen hemlock and red spruce needles.

  1. Blackwater Falls State Park - They do not take reservations. No sewer or water at site. 30 amp only
    Dump station not big rig friendly. 304 259-5216

    Lots of hiking trails. Leaf Peeper's Festival is last full weekend in September.
