We gave the newlyweds a couple of days before arriving at their house for a week.

We toured the Boeing Everett Factory. The factory is the location for production of the Boeing 747, 767, 777 and 787.  The tour includes the main assembly building, which holds the record in Guinness World Records for the larget building in the world by volume.  It is 472 million cu. ft. and covers 98.3 acres.

North Cascades Scenic Byway loops between massive peaks and along lakes colored turquoise by glacial silt, you'll see why these mountains are called "the American Alps".  We did this route in 2013 and thought this are was so beautiful it warranted a second visit.
