Scenic Drive - State Route 20 from Twisp to Concrete

Moving west today. We are crossing the Cascades at Washington Pass on State Highway 20. This is a designated Scenic Highway in Washington so buckle up and enjoy the ride! We'll be in a "move over" lane as much as possible to let the speedsters heading to Bellingham pass by.
There are several places to pull off the road on the climb. We took advantage of most of them just to enjoy the views.

Best one so far!

Heading down the other side. This road is closed in the winter due to snow accumulation.
Not sure where you enjoyed lunch today, but check out our lunch spot! We pulled over to let some traffic pass and decided to have lunch. After lunch we walked down East Bank Trail to find this rushing water and aqua green water.

Ruby Creek

Back to work, break time is over! :)
Diablo Lake, one of several dams on the Skagit River providing power to Seattle.

Hope you enjoyed our trip over Washington Pass.
