Hwy 550 Red Mountain Pass was experiencing lengthy full closures from approximately 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for electrical power line work during the time we were here. This made from some early morning starts to beat the road closure.

At the end of the day we witnessed the Helicopter retrieving the workers off of the power poles.
