Shoshone Falls
Often referred to as the Niagara of the West, located in Twin Falls, Idaho. At 212 feet tall and 900 foot wide, Shoshone Falls is one of the largest natural waterfalls in the United States surpassing the height of the famous Niagara Falls. Shoshone Falls is located on the Snake River as it carves its way through a deep basalt Canyon on its way to the Columbia River. In the summer months, a portion of the river is diverted for irrigation purposes, which reduces the flow over the falls. In the Fall, you will often experience a minimal flow where Shoshone Falls will appear nearly dry. On the map it said they had RV parking so we didn't think twice about driving the motorhome towing the jeep into the park. They should have never allowed us in. The road down into the park was basically only one lane wide. On our way down we crossed paths with another motorhome. Luckily they were not towing and could back up to a wider spot for us to get by.
Completed in July 1976, This steel arch bridge over the spectacular Snake River Canyon just north of Twin Falls, Idaho carries US Highway 93. The main deck is 486 feet above the river, making it eighth in height among United States bridges, and the main span is some 993 feet long.

The views alone make the Perrine Bridge worth a visit, but beyond that, it has an exceptional claim to fame: it is the only bridge in the U.S. from which BASE jumping is always legal without a permit.
We saw a story last night on the news about this diner in the small town of Eden, Idaho. It just happened to be on our route at lunch time.
The food was great!

The Devil's Slide
Croyton, Utah
Looking like a large playground slide fit only for the Devil, this site is a tilted remnant of sediments deposited in a sea that occupied Utah’s distant geologic past. The sides of the slide are hard, weather-resistant limestone layers about 40 feet high, 25 feet apart, and several hundred feet in length.
