Pueblo Riverwalk
The Arkansas River waters have been the cornerstone of Pueblo's existence for over 300 years. The development of the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk returned the river to it's historic location in the heart of downtown Pueblo in 2000, after being diverted in the 1920's due to a devastating flood that destroyed much of Downtown Pueblo in 1921. Its construction was inspired by the San Antonio Riverwalk in Texas.
Zebulon Montgomery Pike was one of the first white men to explore the vast wilderness that is now Colorado. In 1806, Pike and a party of soldiers were sent to explore the unknown far west in order to find where the Arkansas River began. In November of that year, Pike spotted what he called “a small blue cloud,” which turned out to be what would later be named Pike’s Peak.

Dave was part of our group in Ouray earlier this month and we look forward to seeing them in Moab in September.
We fit through once. Surely we still fit.
This little guy was eating the grass out of the crack. We honked and he didn't budge. I had to get out and shoo him off the road.
