Backtracking to Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Well it's official.  Our seal is leaking again and we have to return to Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Wanting to avoid I-70 between Glenwood Springs and Denver due to it's VERY POOR condition,  We took the scenic route back.  We over nighted in Craig, Colorado.
They were having a Street Fair and craft beer competition.

Visited the Museum of Northwest Colorado
They have one of the largest cowboy - gun - leather - spur collections ever on public display

Glenwood Springs doesn't have many RV Parks and without advanced reservations we were not finding anything.  So we found a shady tree in a vacant lot for now.

We were able to get one night at the Resort.  Most expensive night so far.  Not sure what makes it's a resort.  No pool or spa.  Wifi only in the bar.

After getting the Jeep back from the shop we are driving the heck out of it while we are still in the area to make sure it is fixed this time. Hoping the third time is a charm.  One of our test drives was 25 miles to Rifle, Colorado for breakfast at Order Up.  Their Green Chili Sauce is the bomb!

Bogan Flats
We had stayed here before.  It's a nice quite little campground that not a lot of people know about.  The campground hosts asked that we not mention the campground on social media.  They like it nice and quite.  So you didn't hear about it from us. 😊

Crystal River

Crystal Mill is an 1892 wooden powerhouse located on an outcrop above the Crystal River in Crystal, Colorado. It is accessible from Marble, Colorado but requires a four-wheel-drive vehicle, a sturdy pair of boots, a mountain bike or a horse.  It is said to be a photographer’s dream.
